Vision Statement: Each graduate of Moreno Valley High School will be prepared to be a lifelong learner, to be a responsible citizen, and to earn a living. 

Mission: To achieve this vision, Moreno Valley High School will provide a handcrafted education in a digital age. 

Means: The unique learning and teaching reform model known as Paideia informs everything we do at MVHS. It is the cornerstone that sets the MVHS experience apart.

Students

Demographics and Enrollment: Moreno Valley High School Charter enrollment is primarily dependent upon the number of families in our community with school aged children. Our mobility rate traditionally hovers around 20%, which is similar to Eagle Nest Elementary/Middle School. The percentage of students outside of the Cimarron District enrolled at MVHS ranges between 10-20%. MVHS serves students from Red River, Questa, Taos, Guadalupita, Mora, and Wagon Mound.

Teachers are required to have a specific amount of professional development hours per year. Including;  participation in regular staff seminars, training in the use of Paideia, STEM certification, and Culturally and Linguistically Responsive  tools.

MVHS works hard to help teacher's reach top level certification for the state of New Mexico; as of 2021 83% of the instructors are certified Level 3 "Educational Leaders" in their perspective fields of teaching. Currently, 100% of our MVHS staff holds one or more advanced degrees.
